3 days tour Aswan and Abu Simbel from Marsa Alam

We'll pick you up bright and early at 5:00 am from your hotel in either Marsa Alam or Port Ghalib. Don't worry about transportation - we've got you covered with a comfortable private vehicle.

Our first stop is Aswan, which is approximately a 4-hour drive from Marsa Alam. Once we arrive, get ready to immerse yourself in the wonders of ancient Egypt.

Our first visit will be to the amazing Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. This temple, built in the classical Egyptian style, is a true marvel. Construction began around 690 BC, making it one of the last temples built in this style. It's a place where you can truly feel the ancient Egyptian spirit.

Next, we'll head to the famous High Dam. This rock-fill dam, located on the border between Egypt and Sudan, is a testament to human engineering. It's fed by the mighty Nile River, and the reservoir it creates is known as Lake Nasser. The dam project began in 1960 and was completed in 1968, marking a significant milestone for Egypt.

Our next stop is the Unfinished Obelisk. Aswan was renowned for its granite, which was used to create statues, temples, pyramids, and obelisks. The Unfinished Obelisk gives us a unique insight into the construction process of these magnificent monuments. Although it remains unfinished, it's a testament to the incredible craftsmanship of the ancient Egyptians.

To end the day on a relaxing note, we'll enjoy a peaceful sail on the Nile River aboard a traditional Egyptian Felucca. Let the gentle breeze and beautiful scenery transport you to a state of tranquility as we sail along this iconic river.

After a day filled with exploration and relaxation, we'll transfer you to your hotel in Aswan for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 2 - Aswan to Abu Simbel and Return to Marsa Alam:

Rise and shine! Today, we have a special treat in store for you as we visit the awe-inspiring Abu Simbel. We'll start our day bright and early at 4:00 am, ensuring that we have ample time to explore this incredible site.

Abu Simbel is home to two magnificent temples dedicated to Ramses II and his beloved wife Queen Nefertari. These temples are truly a sight to behold, with their colossal statues and intricate carvings. We'll spend time immersing ourselves in the grandeur of ancient Egypt and learning about the fascinating history behind these temples.

After our visit, we'll drive back to Aswan, where we'll enjoy a delicious lunch. Take some time to relax and reflect on the incredible sights you've experienced so far.

In the afternoon, we'll visit the temple of Goddess Isis on Philae Island once again, but this time we'll take a motorboat to get there. Let the gentle waves of the Nile carry you to this sacred island, where you can further appreciate the beauty and significance of the temple.

As the day draws to a close, we'll begin our journey back to Marsa Alam. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenic drive as we take you back to your hotel, where you can rest and relish in the memories of this unforgettable day.

Day 3 - Aswan to Kom Ombo, Edfu, and Return to Marsa Alam:

After a delicious breakfast, get ready for another day of exploration as we visit two remarkable temples - Kom Ombo and Edfu.

Our first stop is Kom Ombo Temple, a unique structure dedicated to two gods: Sobek, the crocodile god of fertility, and Horus, the falcon-headed god of the sky. This temple is divided into two sections, reflecting its dual dedication. It's also famous for its depictions of surgeon's instruments, offering a fascinating glimpse into ancient Egyptian medicine and surgery.

Next, we'll head to the grand Edfu Temple, dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus. This temple is one of the most complete and best-preserved Egyptian temples, boasting numerous columns, halls, chambers, and chapels. As you explore its magnificent architecture, you'll feel a true connection to the ancient world.

As we conclude our journey, take a moment to appreciate the inscription inside the temple that lists the titles of books held in the library. It's a testament to the intellectual prowess of the ancient Egyptians.

After a day filled with history and wonder, we'll begin our drive back to Marsa Alam. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenic landscapes as we take you back to your hotel, where you can reminisce about the incredible experiences of the past three days.
